Bra Colors Sweep Facebook for Cancer Awareness

This week a campaign apparently designed to raise awareness about breast cancer is sweeping the social networking site with a notice asking women to update their status by undivided simple vocable: the color of their bra.

Facebook Inc. says it hasn’familiarily been able to find out who came up by the idea.

Andrea Rader, a spokeswoman for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure groundwork, said the group was not behind the campaign yet called it “a terrific tool by reason of raising awareness.”

She added, “We just hope the bulk of mankind act on it — get educated, influence a mammogram.”
